Assalamualaikum and greeting to all

Alhamdulillah gracious to Allah s.w.t for His virtue, we
successfully published this book in conjunction with the 16
th
NAPREC Conference. Well done and congratulation to all
parties especially researchers of NAPREC Conference
Committee.

The National Institute of Valuation (INSPEN) has been the
coordinator of National Real Estate Research since year
2002 and also known as NAPREC. Its main role as
coordinate and manage fund to conduct research on real
estate.

Objective of NAPREC Fund;
• To promote real estate research project at the next level;
• To promote real estate research that can meet the needs of the Malaysian
industry;
• To encourage real estate research among researchers in various
institutes/organisations.
• To develop research network between public and private sectors; and
• To improve competitiveness to globalization in the field real estate research.
NAPREC has been streamlined according to research property areas as follows:-
1) Real Estate Development and Finance (REDF)
2) Real Estate Valuation (REV)
3) Real Estate Law and Policies (RELP)
4) Real Estate Management and Services (REMS)
5) Real Estate Industry Analysis Studies (REAIS)
Finally, to all committee of 16 NAPREC Conference, the presenters and all parties

involved directly or indirectly in the success of this conference.
