14TH NAPREC (National Real Estate Research Coordinator) CONFERENCE

INSPEN, 4 September 2018 – Persidangan NAPREC ke-14 kelolaan INSPEN telah diadakan pagi tadi bertempat di Dewan Jubli INSPEN.
YBrs. Sr Haji Nordin Daharom, Ketua Pengarah Penilaian dan Perkhidmatan Harta JPPH telah turut hadir untuk memberikan ucapan aluan kepada para pembentang serta para peserta persidangan.
Seramai 5 orang pembentang telah membentangkan kajian mereka iaitu:
1. Mohd Syahril Said (UUM) – Kajian Ke Atas Tekanan Dan Kawalan Pembangunan Kawasan Penanaman Padi dan Tanah Simpanan Melayu Negeri Kedah. Implikasi ke Atas Pembangunan Perumahan dan Komuniti Petani di Kawasan MADA
2. Noraini Johari (UiTM) – Off Campus Student Housing Preferences. Case Study: Negeri Selangor
3. Assoc. Prof. Dr Srazali Aripin (UIAM) – A Study on The Need for a Comprehensive Guidelines on Design and Planning (Quality & Standard) of Low Cost Housing For Shariah Compliance
4. Dr. Mustafa Omar (UTM) – The Development of Property Management Capability Index (PMCI) for Effective Service Delivery in Stratified Residential Property
5. Dr. Azira Abdul Adzis (UUM) – House Demand and Prices, Driverd of Default and Rejection of Housing Loans in Malaysis: A Micro-Level Perspective

INSPEN, September 4, 2018 - INSPEN's 14th NAPREC management conference was held this morning at the INSPEN Jubilee Board.

YBrs. Sr Haji Nordin Daharom, Director-General of Valuation and Property Services JPPH was also present to give a welcome speech to the speakers and participants of the conference.

A total of 5 presenters presented their study:

For information, INSPEN through the NAPREC Unit (National Real Estate Research Coordinator) has been given the responsibility to manage, monitor and distribute research funds from the Malaysian Government to researchers conducting research in real estate related matters.

Here are some of the NAPREC functions:

# Providing land research based on the Malaysian Research and Development Classification System.

# Coordinate and process application of research proposal and allocation of special fund research to researchers through their respective organizations and institutions.

# Monitor the progress of research projects and monitor the allocated finances.

# Organizing the NAPREC Conference to disseminate research results to stakeholders and key players in the real estate industry.

# Creating a promotion on the allocation of funds provided and identifying key issues that need to be investigated.
